maybe it's not that people buy too much stuff, it's that they buy too much subpar crap. I would be one to say that for just about the first time ever we are in a position to be perfectly picky people and cause a mass evolution and we are simply content to be satisfied at a surface level. maybe a little introspection on what makes us happy is in order.
